In the month of December every year, I fall into a revelatory dream state where God begins to reveal His plans and purposes to me for the following year. However, at the end of 2019, God began to speak to me in a very unusual way concerning the next decade from 2020-2030.

Parking Lot Ticket Dream

On December 28, 2019, I received a prophetic dream at night where I found myself in a parking lot following a uniformed officer who was handing out parking tickets. I could not believe how many tickets this gentleman was handing out for “illegal parking”. When I inquired about what was happening, he turned to me and said, “Most of these cars do not have authorization to park here, although they look like they do.” Confused because of the amount of cars he ticketed, I said, “Well do any of these cars have authorization to park here?” He replied, “Only those who have passed an internal certified inspection. My job depends on my ability to distinguish between the cars who look the part on the outside from those who have actually passed the state standard from the inside.”

Upon waking up from the prophetic dream, I deeply sensed that I was supposed to research the origins of “fake news” as we head into the next decade. I believe we are about to witness the emergence of a false company of voices in the earth, especially in the media, who will appear qualified to speak at first glance, but upon further study and inquiry will show themselves NOT approved.  Below is what I briefly discovered in my research concerning “fake news”.

The Explosion of Fake News

From the Atlantic Magazine: 

“The rise of fake news in the American popular consciousness is one of the remarkable growth stories in recent years. Just a few years ago, the phrase was meaningless. Today, according to a new Pew Research Center study, Americans rate “fake news” as a larger problem than racism, climate change, or terrorism.”

From Science Magazine: 

“There is worldwide concern over false news and the possibility that it can influence political, economic, spiritual, and social well-being. To understand how false news spreads, we used a data set of rumor cascades on social media from 2006 to 2017. About 126,000 rumors were spread by ∼3 million people. Without exception, false news reached and was shared by more people than the truth. After the study, we are convinced that in today’s social media world, lies spread much faster than the truth.”

A Decade of Harvesting

As I prayed into the prophetic dream, God began to speak to me saying:

“The body is entering into an era where the ability to discern the difference between the true and the false will become increasingly difficult. The next decade will be marked by “HARVEST” yet My people must understand that with harvesting comes an exposing of deception (tares) and a love for the truth like never before (wheat). At times, that which is manufactured and counterfeit will be passed off as genuine and trustworthy just as that which is anointed and appointed by God will seek to be passed off as null and void. 

There is a satanic assault being loosed My body to confuse and bring great disillusionment to the saints concerning those leaders and saints in whom they can trust and who they cannot. A Bearing of False Witness against the Brethren shall rise. Remember I hate a false witness that speaks lies and the one who sows discord among the brethren. (Proverbs 6:16-19)

You must take great pains in these days to become lovers of the truth. Buy it and do not sell it. (Prov 23:23) Those who love the truth in the last days shall be the most hated for lies and falsehood will abound. Be very careful in your discerning that you do not become hasty in your judgments nor should you judge by outward appearance for I, the Lord look at the heart. Even now, there are individuals that you should be in relationship with that you are not because you have been given a false witness report about them just as there are people you are connected to that must be cut off if you are to love the truth more than personal preference. Because of this intense season of harvesting over the next decade, I’m calling My people to an ascended lifestyle. It’s time to come before My throne. Only I know the motivations, intentions, and thoughts of the human heart. Without spending time in My presence, you will never be able to discern the true and the false, the wheat from the tares. You must understand that I do not measure success in life and ministry like many do. Though many boast in titles and accolades, I look for those who spend time with Me”, says the Lord.

The Mystery of the Wheat and the Tares Revealed

In Matthew 13:24-30, Jesus tells a parable concerning the wheat and tares that is very helpful in seeking to understand the prophetic dream I received. How do we distinguish the real from the false? When the devil sowed tares in the midst of God’s wheat, His command in the parable was, “Let them grow up together”. Why would God do this?

It’s true that wheat and tares look so much alike that it is almost impossible to distinguish them before they mature. However, the main way to distinguish the two is at the harvest or when both have matured. The wheat will bow over whereas the tares remain standing upright. This is absolutely a metaphor for how the true grow in humility and the false grow in pride over time. Watching those who learn how to love correction and those who do not will be very revealing from 2020-2030 in the body of Christ. 

Be on the lookout for a tremendous harvest in 2020 and over the next decade. It will be a harvest of souls, finances, and authentic messengers rising in the body of Christ! We are truly about to see God shake the ends of the earth. But be warned, for false prophets, teachers, and fake news will emerge like never before. Perhaps, the greatest gift we will need over the next decade will be the gift of distinguishing of spirits. Our very lives could depend upon it.”
